Cheney claims that the position he will play within the administration as one of a frank but discreet adviser to Bush. Cheney accepted his appointment as Republican vice president that he would like to be a president candidate who is willing to cooperate cross-partisanally and with their political adversaries with good will and for a common cause. Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. At the age of 13, Richard moved his family out of Nebraska and moved to Casper which was where his dad worked as director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservation district.
