Her birth date was March 29, 1985 in Roswell New Mexican. Her name is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican mother from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson was born in Mexico. Stevenson is of Mexican heritage, but is American in nationality. From a young age, her desire to be engaged in sport was strong. Gerina took up golf in her first game at the age of 15. Gerina graduated from High School studies through Goddard High School. While she was in high school, she won the New Mexico state golf tournament. Also, she played volleyball at the level of state. She enrolled in the University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. During the senior seasons of her professional career, she won each tournament in which she competed. While in her undergrad years, she was awarded as the conference's best player of year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of the Year.
