Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I worked for months, working 12- hour days sanding floors and tearing down wallpaper with one baby strapped to my back, and others crawling in the playpen. Ha! All was beginning to fall in place, yet we were nowhere near done. To furnish the home it would be a huge effort in terms of budget and time. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. For my budget to remain sound, I travelled with my three boys in search for bargains in estate sales. Every week, we spent the week of Thursday through Saturday at estate sales and garage sales, buying old and new furniture. After that, I repainted and smoothed in the driveway in the week. My passion for furniture restoration started with an appearance similar to this. The issue was not whether the home was furnished. I rented a booth on the local market, and even sold some items there. In the end, I had numerous pieces that I did not think of a solution and my storage space was a mess. My home was where I began hosting open houses, where over 1000 guests could visit and buy any item they wanted on the first floor within a single weekend. Growing Days is the result of all this. Growing Days was more than an extremely successful company, it was it was also a loving family. The balance was between starting a business and being a mother. Growing Days just seemed to fit. Nora my 4th child was born in the year 2013. I was thrilled with where my company was heading but I needed some time off. I took a break from creating vintage furniture and I slowed down my speed and stayed at home to raise the children. It was just what I required. But after a couple of months without a phone, it began to call. People contacted me asking for help with the interior design and renovations of their home. A majority of them were people who visited my home at my open house for furniture. I began to take on clients at a time working at my own pace however it wasn't long before I had several accounts, and I was operating an entire home improvement business. It is likely that I would have been laughing if someone had told me the business was going to be part of a forthcoming tv program on DIY Network. Actually, I smile a little when I remember it.
